Please be advised of the following:
*Mock ELA Test Grades 3-8
Tuesday March 22nd - Part I
Thursday March 24th - Part II
*Students in grades 3-8 during their regularly scheduled Reading class will take a practice test from the archived New York State ELA tests. The session will mimic the 90 minute time frame that will occur the following week.
*Students will need pencils, highlighters and a book to read.
*Students will not be able to have any water bottles in the room.
*Students will not be able to leave the room for the bathroom after the test has begun.
*Students will not be able to leave the room to see the nurse-- the nurse will be be summoned to the room if needed.
*Students will be required if they finish early to read a book ONLY. Therefore, they will not be able to ask the teacher to get something from anywhere.
*Grade 2 Module 6 Assessment on Tuesday or Wednesday.
*NYS ELA Exams begins on March 29th.
*Report Cards will be distributed on March 31st.
*Easter Recess begins after dismissal on April 8th. School resumes on April 25th.
*NYS Math Exams for Grades 3-8 begins on April 26th.
